Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PayRes (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data through the website payres.co. For details on cookies and similar technologies specifically, see our Cookie Policy.

1. Who we are

The controller of personal data collected through this site is PayRes. Contact us about privacy at privacy@payres.co.

2. What we collect and why

Demo / contact requests. When you submit the demo form we collect the details you provide — your name, work email, company, and optionally your role, the processors you use and any notes — plus the page you submitted from and any campaign (UTM) parameters in the URL. We use these solely to respond to you and to prepare for the conversation you requested. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (GDPR / UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).

Security and anti-abuse. When you submit the form, your IP address is processed transiently to rate-limit submissions and block automated abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service (Article 6(1)(f)).

Analytics. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 collects usage data, your IP address and a pseudonymous identifier so we can understand site use in aggregate. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). This runs only after you opt in — see the Cookie Policy.

Cookies and similar technologies. Described in full in our Cookie Policy.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of service providers (processors):

  • Resend — delivers the demo-request email to us. Privacy Policy. The resulting email is received in a Google Workspace / Gmail mailbox we control.
  • Google — Analytics (with consent) and Fonts. Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare — content delivery and security for the site. Privacy Policy.

4. International transfers

Some of these providers are US-based or operate globally, so your data may be processed outside the EEA/UK. Where that happens, the providers state that they rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK extension) and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Review each provider’s policy above for its current safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

We keep demo-request details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and then for a reasonable period for our business records, after which we delete or anonymise them. Analytics data is retained per our Google Analytics settings; the related cookies expire as listed in the Cookie Policy.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (which does not affect processing already carried out). EEA/UK residents may lodge a complaint with their data protection authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, correct and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — we do neither, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals (see the Cookie Policy). To exercise any right, contact privacy@payres.co.

7. Changes

We will update this page and its “Last updated” date when our practices change. Material changes affecting cookies will also re-prompt your cookie choice.
